I was born on the Swedish tundra on a cold, wooden night where the only smell conceivable to ones half frozen nostrils was a faint hint of the surrounding pine trees.
Actually I was born and raised to turkish and kurdish parents in a Stockholm suburb.
2006 - graduated from a Waldorf school with flying colors. The colors were literally flying.
2008 - Began studies in Media Technology at Södertörn University in 2008 and discovered motion graphics. There was not much motion graphics at Södertörn so I applied to the motion graphics program at Hyper Island.
2011 - Graduated from Hyper Island.
Since then I have spent most of my time in New York City, with a stint at SEHSUCHT Hamburg. I've had the pleasure of working with studios such as Blur, Prodigal Pictures/Danny Yount, Gmunk Inc., Imaginary Forces, Superfad, Trollbäck, 1st Ave Machine, Scout, Perception, and several more. I'm currently freelancing full time in New York City and anywhere remotely.
I also love to work on personal projects, experimental explorations and collaborations, some of which made it to this site.
At the core of everything I do lies the simple love for visualizing what's in my head in both design and motion. I try to be inspired by all things around me and trust my brain to make the connections. Also most of my subjectively good ideas happen in the shower.
Three words I value highly are 'crisp', 'detailed', and 'dynamic'.
